Spellpower on Weapons

From what I have been reading I have come to see that spell power will still remain a stat on weapons and weapons only. What I would like to know is if the spellpower enchants for weapons are remaining. Does anyone have any information on this as I have an ideal enchant I want to get but it will cost me a few thousand gold to get the materials needed for the rep.

Weapon enchants are still proving spell power as well.
