I think he got disbarred for blatantly refusing to respect a judge's wishes. Something about the court not being "Cristian" enough or something like that. From my understanding even the people technically on his side of the aisle won't touch him anymore.

1) responsibility is in the parents to govern what their children can and can not play
2) violence is indeed an art
3) some parents raise their children differently and a law governing what parents can give thier kids isn't constitutional
4) ESRB is doing a better job and denying children violent video games than other media sources (movies, music, etc.)
5) Crime rate in children has actually gone down since games have had these violent themes.

The case isn't concluded this was just esrbs day to step up and defend gaming as an art form.
If you go to the bottom you should be able to see part 2 and 1.

If this got passed ( pretty sure it won't ) then it could change how developers make their games which would ruin gaming as a whole.

Violence is not ONLY an art... but a valuable trade skill as well. Take, for example... hit men. Anyone can go out and smash someone's face in with a bat. But having an ability so fine tuned you are able to manipulate someone's entire body structure into an unrecognizable mass of flesh? That's talent, AND skill. And I mean I... I ummm.

You could also toss in the fact that politicians have driven people to levels of violence so far beyond anything the idiotic "save the children" crowd could try to blame on video games.
