Greetings fellow Mmo-champion goers, since we have not had a thread like this in a while.


What are your plans for:

1. Before Cataclysm hits.

2. The second the servers go live after the Cata-down time.

3. And the first week of Cata.




Me personally, am only playing when more pre Cata events happen.

When the servers go live ill travel around the cities, looking at the new changes first hand, then once the traffic has died down, will delete my name reserved characters and create my Worgen and Goblin respectively.


Then i'll maintain a balance between leveling my main, and my alts.


Share your plans

1. Be bored and look on mmo-champion all the time, and listen to Blue plz.
2. Shout "FUUUU********* YEEEES!", and then level
3. Try to find a good gold tip so i can learn 280% Mount Skill >_>

1.... Play warcraft as normal, lets face it with a wife like mine, warcraft is the best option.
2.... Finish doing the housework, cook the family their dinner, wash up, put stuff away, get the kids bathed, make the wife a cup of tea, have a bath, get the kids to bed... Log on and wonder why all the servers are full and wait 3 hours to actually get online.. Move my char for 2 secs, check time, realise i need to get to bed.
3.... Pretty much as number 2, except stand in a very long line of chars waiting to kill a specific mob that spawns every 2 minutes or so. Pretty much the same as WOTLK really...

Progressing Halion 25 hm, farming ICC 25 hm and some missing achivements from Ulduar/TotC

2. The second the servers go live after the Cata-down time.
Level to 85 asap ^^ Still remember the leveling madness from the start of WotLK - really great time

3. And the first week of Cata.
Check out heroics and raids

1. Get achievements that i dont have yet
2. Lvl like a mad man, aiming for at least 82 or 83 that night, i forsee many many Monster energy drinks Dec 7 lol
3. Get lvl 85 on my paladin and start doing heroics like a boss

1. After 4.0.1, find which class I will enjoy playing the most after the changes, and level it up/gear it up as needed.
2. Probably Worgen time!
3. More Worgen time. I'm honestly more interested in old Azeroth's changes than going to the new zones.

2. Power to 85 without sleep
3. Catch up on sleep while others level

not really aiming for server first, but i would like to hit 85 relatively quickly.

2. Take my girlfriend out for her birthday dinner with friends.

3. Work, finish my portfolio, sleep, move to a new apartment with GF.


Can you tell I'm not buying the expansion right away?

I'm glad I could share all this with complete strangers. This thread is better than twitter.

1. Do the pre-cataclysm events and relearn to play all the classes in 4.0.1 and find which is most enjoyable so I can level that class up before cata.
2. level asap to 85.
3. Start levelling alts and accumulate PvP and PvE gear on whatever i choose to be my main.

1. Before Cataclysm hits.

get as much gear on alts as possible - will make 80-81 a lot easier even if i will upgrade a lot of the gear with quest gear (will be getting 2-3 pieces of T10 on each alt already with justice point changes)

2. The second the servers go live after the Cata-down time.

get a full group, any group pref guildies, dps heals tanks doesnt matter, as long as there are 4 other ppl who can tap the mobs we need to kill.

3. And the first week of Cata.

first week of cata will be questing and dungeon grinds, i might hit 85, second week hopefully heroic grinding.

2. I am going to try to level a Goblin.
