Crossfire and eyefinity support

So, I heard rumors that cataclysm is going to be using multi-gpu. I mean, it already does now, but it's interesting how the pus act in the city, very little gpu activity.

I saw in the patch notes 'multi monitor' option. I wonder what thats all about.

Hopefully the new graphics are badass. I just finished building this machine to get ready

Thermaltake v9 black widow case
Asus 890pro/USB 3 mobo (890fx chipset)
Phenom 2 965 be c3 stepping oc'd to 3.8 ghz
2 ati 5850s in crossfire.
4 gb of ram ddr3 at 1600mhz ram. I'm wondering if I should kick it up to 8.
I wanna get a ssd for this.

So can anyone verify the rumors/ what this multi monitor thing is all about?

WoW has supported for a long time extending your desktop across several monitors, it just looks stupid due to forced perspective. Maybe the new feature lets you turn the perspective correction off or something.

More than 4GB is not needed for any gaming use, upgrading RAM is waste of money unless you know you need more.
