Patch 4.0.1 Question

Hey guys.
I just wanted to get this clairified...
Today with the drop of 4.0.1, will it include the beginning of the Cataclysm event (such as elemental attacks on cities and such)?
Sorry, I know this has been talked about alot, but I just needed to clarify it.

I think Blizzard need to activate the event to start and I don't think they'll do that straight away, instead they'll let ppl get used to the changes.

The events are included in the patch and will occur during the patch's run. What the time frame will be, exactly, is unknown. The elemental attacks, though, is one of the last events that occurs with this patch. It starts with the doomsday cult.

Pretty good chance there will be some surprises in store for us once the servers come up, but don't get your hopes up since there's a massive ammount of changes coming in this patch as-is.

No. The log-in screen remains the same today. Most likely changing with 4.0.3. New launcher today.

The Doomsday Cult questline may very well be activated immediately as a way to help people adjust to the new features, but the invasion and special bosses are probably going to be phased in week by week. (Though I would wait two weeks for them to start in earnest due to BlizzCon)
