tryin to update my wow to 4.0.1 and all i get is "World of Warcraft could not be found. Please make sure the game is properly installed."

Try running the Repair inside your WoW folder, it might help.

Had that last night around 1.30
I thought it was because the patch wasn't ready to download yet. Cause this morning before i went to work i succesfully started the patch download.

i notcied that my wow.exe, downloader and updater wasnt on my firewalls allow list. so i added them and tryin again. if not then ill spend a day QQn about it then reinstall lol

always have the same problem with wow updates...

repaired and added the install path to the registry then ran the launcher as admin worked like charm
