Being a new disc priest, I have a question about Strength of Soul.

Strength of SoulRank 2When you heal a target with your Heal spell, the duration of the weakened soul debuff on the target is reduced by 4 sec.

Does this mean that any of your heal spells (greater, penance, even a bubble heal) will reduce the WS debuff by 4 seconds. I'm confused by the wording of 'your Heal spell'.

Only "heal" the simple (and shitty) 'go to' spell.

If you look at other talents, it'll say something like "when you heal a target with Greater Heal, Flash heal, or...." Etc etc. Blizz isn't bad with tool tips for priests- Reflective Shields not included.

Yeah, and personally I'm not taking SoS at all since I don't plan to be casting Heal on my tank at all....that may change at 85, we will see.

So - Does that mean Flash Heal or Greater Heal only?
Also, what about Pennance or Prayer of Mending or Binding Heal...

The ONLY heal that will reduce the WS debuff is the one called "Heal." Flash, Penance, and Greater Heal do not benefit from SoS. That is why I think it's pretty worthless. If they would have added Greater Heal to it, it would be worthwhile.
