Should I roll Lock or Hunter for Cata?

I want to roll a pure DPS class for cataclysm. I'm used to tanking as Warrio/Bear and healing as Tree but would like to take a stab at ranged dps. I saw a thread about hunters being a lot of fun with the new focus change but haven't seen opinions on how locks are doing fun wise (other than being OP at the moment).

What do those of you who play either class think?
