Harnessed Shadows?

Hi, question about harnessed shadows.
It says 100% chance to gain a shadow orb when critally hit by any attack.
But it doesn´t give me any orbs when i crit. Is it a bug, or am i missreading how the spell works?

Read it more closely, it is saying that you get an orb when YOU are hit BY a critical attack.
