A Request for you Theory Crafters

So almost every post I see regarding theorycrafting references simulcraft and when I looked at it I had no idea where to even begin. Can someone make a video (or let me know if there already is one) giving a step to step guide on using simulcraft? I was also wondering how do you figure out the weighting for the stats you plug into simulcraft?

Has Simulationcraft even been technically released for 4.0.1 yet? Most people I see using it have retrofitted it to 4.0.1 by compiling it themselves, which is out of the scope of my expertise.

The release version had some literature packaged with it, and really wasn't that hard to use, basically import a profile from Armory or WoWhead, set the parameters and buffs/debuffs, determine what scale factors you want to find and hit the 'Simulate' button.
