Crashing in PvP

There have been many reports of players who experience their game either freezing or disconnecting entirely when interacting with objects that provide a "cogwheel" prompt. This can include such items as the Warlock soul well, Mage portals, feasts, or battleground objectives such as flags (both node and those that are able to be carried).

Our QA team is aware of this issue and investigating. However, we do not have an ETA on a resolution. Hang tight, and keep an eye here for future updates! (Source)

It has happened to me many many times. Even during the pre-bg loading screen.

There's nothing worse than getting the deserter debuff from a battle you didnt even make it into.

Ive also got the debuff from joining a BG that was about to end. The debuff also refreshes when moving to new zones.
