Not possible. Addons CANNOT affect the 3d Rendered World, or anything that is 3d. They do not know WHERE your target is on the screen, they do not know WHICH 3d object is your target, and they cannot affect how any object is rendered (which includes outlining 3d rendered objects).

yeah i guessed so, but i wanted to ask anyway...
besides, the game already highlight the target, or moused-over target. but maybe is there an option to modify those parameters.Last edited by shimargh; 2010-10-17 at 07:03 PM.

The nearest you can get is nameplate modifications that will enhance or change the appearance of the healthbar you will see above a target.
Since they are just modifying something already there, then they then do not fall foul of that limitation.

Technically you should be able to do a scrolling frame anchored to nameplates. That only works on shown nameplates though.
