Headless Horseman LvL Requirement

I have a level 77 alt who's unable to do the Headless Horseman, does anybody know the minimum level required to participate?

level 78 to be able to queue.

lvl 75 to be able to summon - you can get a group and go there on foot

I apologize in advance for the deep thread necro.

I'm doing some research into the older version of this event, such as 2010-2013.

Does anyone remember exactly what happened when someone who was below the level requirement attempted to zone into Headless Horseman through the Scarlet Monastery entrance? Like, actually saw it happen, and remembers.

As of October 2010:

• only level 78+ could queue
• level 75-77 could enter by the entrance
• level 74- was unable to do the event.

It sounds like lvl 74- was prevented from zoning into the event, but what exactly happened when they tried?

I don't know, but see if you can find archives of a site called thottbot. It was the 'wowhead' before wowhead.
