How would this comp run wow / cata?

    Hello

I posted a few weeks ago about buying a laptop, however.. my budget changed and Im not gonna buy a laptop anymore. So I'm looking at this computer.

    PSU Chieftec Smart Series 550W PSU ATX 12V V2.3, Standard, 1x 6pin +1 x 6 +2 pin PCIe, 6x SATA, 120mm Fan
    Motherboard ASUS M4A87TD/USB3, Socket AM3 AMD 870 + SB850, SATA 6Gb's, USB3.0, DDR3, GbLAN, ATX, PCI-Ex (2.0) x16
Processors AMD Phenom X4 955 Black Edition Quad Core, 3.2 Ghz, AM3, 8MB, 125W, Boxed
    DDR3 Memory Kingston Value. DDR3 1333MHz 4GB, CL9 Kit w / two matched ValueRAM 2GB DDR3
    Hard Drive WD Caviar ® Black 1TB 3,5 ", SATA 6 Gb / s, 64MB Cache, Dual Processor, 7200RPM
Graphics Card ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 768MB PhysX CUDA PCI Express 2.0, "Synergy Edition", GDDR5, 2xDVI, native-Mini HDMI, 710MHz

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Basic 64bit
    1 TB harddrive

    with LG 18,5" LCD W1946S-BF

The total price of this setup would be 850 EURO.

Some people have told me to upgrade the grafic card and these are the cards I can pick from with the price range Im at.

    PowerColor Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 PCI-Express 2.0, DVI-I, HDMI
    PowerColor Radeon HD 5750 1GB GDDR5 PCI-Express 2.0, "SCS3", 2xDVI-I, HDMI, DisplayPort
    XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 PCI-Express 2.0, "XXX", 2xDVI-I, HDMI, DisplayPort, 875MHz
    XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 PCI-Express 2.0, 2xDVI-I, HDMI, DisplayPort, 850MHz
    and
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 768MB PhysX CUDA PCI-Express 2.0, "Synergy Edition", GDDR5, 2xDVI, native-mini HDMI, 710MHz (<- This is the one Im currently using in the spec)

Would any of these grafic card change the way the comp would run in a major way or shouldnt I bother?

    My questions are:

How well would this run WOW? a friend told me it would run max setting easy.
Would I beable to keep this spec for ~5 years without any major upgrades do you think?

It'll work in 25-man raids at 30-40fps on high/ultra graphics on 1920x1080 monitor.

That graphics card you have picked is fine for WoW, no need to change it, especially not in that group of cards.

But the monitor is kinda shit, probably really cheap, but still shit by today's standards. Very low resolution and only one analog input connector to hook it into PC. get 21-22" 1680x1050 or 1920x1080 monitor instead, with DVI input.
Never going to log into this garbage forum again as long as calling obvious troll obvious troll is the easiest way to get banned.
    Trolling should be.

    There is hardly any increase from a GTX460 768 to a 5750 or 5770

The 5770 is usually a tad slower than a GTX 460 768MB even.

and so on. On some games there's up to a 10+ FPS advantage for the 460 768MB!
