Title says it. Currently using Whispering Fanged Skull(normal) w/ some of the crit reforged as Mastery. Specced MM. Have roughly 18.6 mastery and 639 haste. Has anyone else tried the HWT? Is it worth it? That is all. Thanks.

HWT is definitely better. Reforge as much as possible to Mastery.

Well my other trinket is currently DBW, which I'm pretty sure is still a BiS. Just wanted to know whether HWT is better than WFS nowadays.

Not necessarily. On fights where stacks will drop a few times, continue to use WFS. That's what I have been doing, at least.

I read somewhere that DBW procs one of 3 things for hunters specifically: either Agi, Crit, or AP. Would they be changing this anytime soon to proc haste instead of crit or something?

I would love to try out a trinket that had a haste proc, if they hadn't stretched out ilvls so much that it would nearly kill you to drop back into a previous tier.

The only trinket I know that was changed to proc haste is the Needle-Encrusted Scorpion.

This may look a little like offtopic, but judging from Beta dps spreadsheet, Death Choice and Death Choice (H) are superior to both HWT and WFS.
