4.0.1 Assasination Dagger, to fast or not to fast?

With assasination now using Backstab in the Execute phase and the tin abo having lost its value to other trinkets, is the use of double 277 Lungbreaker still BiS, or is there more merit in using a 277 Heartpierce in the MH instead, for the increased weapon damage?

Never played a rogue but just been comparing them.

Heatpierce has the obvious enegery proc + 95 AP. With an increase to high end damage(compared to lunbreaker) of 85 damage.

On the other hand, Lunbreaker gives 78 Agi which is a little under 1% crit + 78 AP. 52 raw crit rating which is equal to 1.13% crit chance and 44 haste which is equal to 1.34% but of course, losing 85 top end damage and the energy proc.

Heartpierce gains: 95 Raw AP + Chance on restoring 4 energy, every 2 seconds for 10 seconds totaling @ 20 Energy with an 80% uptime and 85 high end weapon damage.

Lungbreaker gains: 78 AP from Agi. Around 2% crit from Agi + Raw Crit. 1.34% melee haste.

Overall, I'd say Heartpierce due to its 80% uptime of it's proc + high end damage increase.

This is a noob(when it comes to rogue) overview so hope it helped.

I think the better question to ask is, why would you use a fast mh when you are backstabbing and focused attacks no longer exist?
