Private servers are illegal. It clearly says in the ToS that you cannot host a blizzard game on your own server.

Also, resilience was buffed in 4.0.1. You are looking at old resilience values.

And on private servers, stat calculations can be way off.

It can, but a good one usually hit dead on. About 1-3% plus/minus
Priv servers got developers as well you know

And they make thousands of dollars hosting private servers, and blizzard can't nearly catch enough of them to scare off that

No pots, it's all self-buffs (including trinkets, food and flasks).


Basically what I wanted to try out is to see how much spellpower and haste I can get, the maximum amount I can climb to. I thought demo warlocks should be the best in that because they have this talent that increases the values of your firestone/spellstone by 300% + a talent increasing the bonus from Fel Armor + Demon Form 20% damage increase so I tried it.

This is not even slightly true. When you buy a game, you are not actually buying a copy of the game. You are buying a license to play it. They own the game, and if you read the damn EULA you sign up to every time they patch it, they also have the right to seize your bloody computer if you play on private servers. It simply isn't true to assert you can do what you like because you paid £30 for a game, and don't read the legal small print.

Some people don't like to have to pay to play on a well maintained server. The fact that people who choose not to use Blizzard's servers get free updates. Unfortunately for Blizzard, this is just a general flaw in the system.

Well...his crits aren't exactly a measure of his skill, rather his gear.

Private servers seem pretty boring to me, shortlived fun at best.

20.7k Soul Fire crits on dummies WITHOUT Curse of the Elements. (haven't tested with it yet)

1.4 seconds for a Shadow Bolt.
2.3 seconds for a Soul Fire.

Did a duel. People die before they break the fear unless they have resillience.

BTW, 3.3.5. Private server. I am definitely not going to play on a bugged patch, I saw what I wanted to. Gonna wait for a shitload of bugfixes before I play again, probably in the Cataclysm event or when I get Cata.
