So.. the Q&A just said that 25 and 10 man raid's drop the same ratio of loot, aka 5 items in 25 and 2 items in 10. The only difference is the number of justice point's... which seems a rather lackluster way of encouraging 25 man raid's considering the effort that has to go into creating them compared to 10 man.

indeed, you get more vp for doing a raid on 25 man. 5 drops on 25 man!? thats alot better then the 3 we get now. im still bummed of the shared loot but i can settle for more valor points, itll let me get my 3 set faster. cant wait

My thoughts on the matter are quite simple.

If you don't think 25-man is rewarding enough to warrant the extra organization that goes into herding 15 more cats... don't do it. Drop back to 10-man. That's the POINT of this change--to stop people from feeling obligated to go through that crap.

The people who are doing 25-man should be the people who simply love larger-scale battles because it feels more epic to them. The people who are doing 25-man should be the people who have a large guild that works like a well-oiled machine, who really enjoy the diverse personalities and experiences they have with their numerous guildies and friends. The people who are doing 25-man should NOT be the people who are just doing it because they feel like that's the only way to get ahead even though they feel like 10-man is much more relaxed, close-knit, and ultimately more fun.

It sounds like you might be one of those people who only want to gravitate toward the system that has more reward, and you've been conditioned through the years to feel like that's supposed to be 25-man. If this is the case, you need to sit back and allow your brain to change with Blizzard's design philosophy and just do what you find fun.

Or you're one of those people who truthfully enjoy 25-man but feel like there aren't enough people like you to maintain your preferred style of raiding. If this is the case, you need to sit back and realize that not everyone feels the same way; stop trying to make people feel locked in to your preferred option. If you have 12 people who really enjoy 25-mans and 13 who are just there because it's the only way they get the good stuff, then now there are 13 people who will get MORE fun out of the game--surely you can find 13 others who enjoy 25-man by looking away from the people who weren't having that much fun anyway.

If you want fun, relaxed, and raid with close friends. Cool, go raid a 10 man with them. If you want the most challenging and most powerful items, go raid 25 man. You should not be able to have both. If you want the best rewards, go do the fucking work and stop looking for fucking handouts.

They initially said something about a weekly CAP on Valor points... and I'd say that is still the case.. and yes... a 10 man raider will simply be running more heroics to reach the cap. That is disappointing... I can't believe they won't drop at LEAST ONE more piece of loot. 6 vs 5...

Ah well.. I raid for the encounter anyway... less tie to cap out means more time to raid on an alt..

I mean unless your intention is simply to whine about something and you don't plan to understand it, just think about how easier loot distribution will be on 25man. Loot waste will be a lot smaller than it will be on 10mans.

Yes but after a couple of weeks wont u need much from that boss anyway (5 loots per week will make gearing so much quicker), The best way would probably be 1 loot in 10 man and 3 in 25 man or release a new patch after 3-4 months.
