    They're fungal giants, their spores probably got carried on the clothes of adventurers. We're just lucky the damn things haven't spread over the entire world.

    Probably not a old god, probably not even any paranormal activity. It's probably just poison shrooms that kills you while you fish

    I concure, i have no particular faction pride (though i do play alliance and often favor them), but the old gods are where i am at. And i have ways of locating old god threads

    The fae are at best indifferent and prankster'ish, at worst sadistic and malevolent psychotic bastards. They deserve to be in Azeroth, would fit right in IMO.
