Resting blade

It is our goal to be one of the premiere raiding guilds on Borean Tundra while operating on a compressed raiding schedule designed to better fit the personal and professional lives of our members. To that end, we will recruit and train talented, driven, and self-motivated players, both on- and off-server; we will strive to our utmost to build and maintain a cohesive, consistent, and skilled raid group; and we will do everything in our power to make raiding with Resting blade a constructive and enjoyable experience while continuing to push ourselves to the limits of progression content.




About us

Resting blade was Started in April Of 09, 3 months after the begining of the server, while at that time we weren't a mainsteem raiding guild we did participate in raiding usually pugging with other guilds, shortly after we had enough members of our own and started raiding as a guild, however, this was late into most progressions and we had alot of catching up to do, We worked hard as a Guild, Moved up the ranks slowly and started to be recognised as a well established raiding guild on borean tundra, We had achieved server rank (3) for ulduar 25 and server rank (2) for Toc25, About this time we had officers server transfer and real life issues just as Icecrown citadel was Becoming main content, We disbanded the guild but stayed in close contact, We moved from Guild to Guild, Trying to find a place to call home, yet nothing was like the Resting blade we knew, Server Progression as a whole was Sickening to say the least, 90% of Guilds not passing Professor Putricide, when we got talking, "lets Reform resting blade".



September 19th 2010 is the day we Reformed, On our first day as a guild we managed to pull in 10 players based off our old reputation, And so it began, on our first raid night we managed to get to professor Putricide, Second night to Blood queen, We were back, and on form, the Guild slowly got more reputation, and we moved up to out current ranking of 5th on the server.



our main goal is be a progression guild, Downing content before 90% of the guilds out there on borean tundra, Hell, even get a few server first kills, This Goal is within our reach, this goal will be met!


Were Currently Recruiting

Druid : High : One exceptional Feral Dps

Paladin : High : Heals

Priest : Med : Shadow priest

Shaman : Med : Resto/Elemental

Warrior : Low : Dps


Just because were not recruiting your Class does not mean we will not Read and concider your Application, All exceptional Applications will be concidered, All exceptional players will be concidered, We are also looking to recruit PvPers to solidate our roster for Cataclysm for guild achievements and more.



Raiding

Our raid times are approx 7.30pm to 11.30pm server time. Invites will start between 7.10 and 7.15 (as early as we need to to be able to pull at 7.30pm). Target end time is 11.30pm, but if we are close to a boss we will push on until Midnight. No boss pulls after Midnight.

The 25-man raids are on Tuesday,Thursday,Sunday(3 nights). This could theoretically change, but it’s been the schedule for a while.
