Demon Hunters - and possible Future

A Demon Hunter would literally just be a Rogue + Warlock.

Blizz said they would love to bring Illidan back, as well as revamp the outlands. I think this would be a great place to start.

I dunno, we already have hunter. Demon Hunter kinda makes hunter sound redundant. Like Mage vs Archmage. They would have to change Hunter to Ranger or something.

I'm aware the word "hunter" is in both, but they're not the same at all.

Demon Hunters are melee - they use shadow/fel magic. they don't have pets.
Hunters are ranged - they deal physical ranged damage. they have pets.

Demon Hunters predate WoW Hunters - the naming has nothing to do with the class.

For example, lets pretend Death Knight's are called Death Warriors -- They're still not Warriors.

they dont really have a bard type class in thegame yet. Plus last hero class with a tank/melee dps so make sense if they came out with a bard and it was heals/dps ranged (tho the class would focus less on dps and more on buffing the party and debuffing the bosses)

Also, I think that if Blizzard puts in another class, it will have a healing spec. The last class implemented was Tank / Melee DPS, so I see them putting in another healing type class.

i also think the demon hunter will likely be the next hero class and i'd totally like to see it.
about the expansion itself, i really hope it would be more like the argus expansion. it's legion related too, but on a whole new planet, not (only) in outland. and it would finally add more lore to the draenei and eredar.

edti: oh and draenei demon hunter would actually fit very well, since no other race holds such hatred against demons and has lost so much to the legion.

You can do this math with all sorts of classes.

Paladins are literally just Warriors + Priests
Death Knights are literally just Paladins/Warriors + Warlocks
Druids are literally just Rogues + Warriors + Mages + Priests
Warlocks are literally just Hunters + Mages, with an evil twist.

I could keep going, but this is stupid.

I doubt that Blizzard will make another Legion-themed expansion this early. It hasn't been long enough since BC. Also, in regards to the next hero class, Blizzard has said that they want to fix the healing shortage next, since Death Knights were meant to fix the tanking shortage (oh, how well that went).

I'm thinking that after Cataclysm, the Azshara/Maelstrom expansion will be next, and they will introduce the Sea Witch as a hero class. The Sea Witch was able to heal in the warcraft RPG, so it would make perfect sense. The only thing that Blizz would have to do is write the lore on how the Alliance and Horde were able to learn how to be sea witches.

It doesnt matter how different they are. The fact that they have almost the same name is kind of a buzzkill for me. Say we made a dark mage(idk) and its mechanics were completely different than the regular mages. It would still be wierd. imo

the reasons are obvious. you can stop bichting. you are just angry because you know you will never get to play a demon hunter.

blizzards tends to do stuff if the majority of the playerbase just QQs long enough (see faction change etc.).
this is true for pandaren but not for a demon hunter class.

more reasons:
- the demon hunter x-pack has already been done.
- demon hunters are too similar to existing classes, both in terms of spells used as well as game mechanics.
- not every hero unit from wc3 will become a hero class.

there, and i bet there are a couple more i can't think of right now.

PS: look up "exaggeration" and "symbolic figures" in a conglomeration of sylistic devices of your choice.

I'm not angry at all, and sure, you gave some reasons why they wouldn't add the Demon Hunter class there, but those reasons don't mean that Pandaren are 10 times more likely to be added.
