It works, but imo it's not worth it. The only time I could see it being worth it is for HM LD 25. In 25 man reg the adds go down so quickly that BoD would do more damage than 15% of whatever you're able to do to the adds. If you are doing HM I'd be VERY careful using it because you don't want to break the shield until it is time!

Seeing how his question was if it WORKS with the shield and not if it's a good idea to use, im guessing his plan is to keep dpsing deathwhisper and cast the havoc on the adds.

His question prolly originated from the fact that he wasn't sure wether DW heals herself or just absorbs the dmg.

LDW's shield isn't actually a shield at all. She gets healed as she takes damage depending on her mana pool, so just treat her as you'd treat Freya. Only rather than an obvious buff that heals her, it's her mana bar.

Why would you bane the adds they die in like 2 seconds bane of doom on boss would be much more dps. Do as you will though.
