I was having a look on Wowhead today, and after having a look through Archaeology Stuff, I decided to check Engineering and noticed this:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't this Scope used to give a measly +88 Crit Rating? And isn't this the thing Blizzard said they wanted to do for Hunters when asked about boring weapon enchants at Blizzcon?

That's only the first iteration of the proc mechanic. It'll get balanced, just like everything else.
