SMF - Toughts and insights

HAI!

I just wanted to check if some peeps tried SMF build out in raiding (ICC). My guild is casually raiding ICCHC's atm since we have a break before Cata.
I was thinking about making an SMF bvuild and try it out just for the fun of it. First of all is it fun? Is it viable? Is it worth testing? Any
suggestions on weps? Anyone tried it in pvp? Toughts and insights?

Ideally it would use Str 1h weapons, of which there are non atm. Agi weapons are thus the only viable non-tanking weapons around which also grant hit/crit/haste and so on.

Then its a case of weaponspeed, which is dual slow.

Oh, totally forgot, the pvp weapons ofc. they no longer need rating iirc. Socket with str. bobs your uncle.

This. I just got my Wrathful 2.6spd 1handers during this WSG Weekend and I can tell you that I'm loving it.

Havent tested it in raids yet, but on 5man bosses I'm sporting around 10k DPS, and the rest of my gear aint so great, 4xilvl251 T10, rest random 251/232/219 pieces.

Oh yeah, and around 6,8k sustained DPS on a dummy, without popping any CDs.

I've been playing around with SMF and I really enjoy it. I haven't actually tried it with 2h so I can't compare it for you.

I was in VoA10 the other day pushing about 8k dps. (This is not a valid test, because of buffs and such)
And yeah, bursty dungeon bosses will push me above 10k.

I tried it with 2x wrathful 1 handers, and did ~8.1k on the dummy. Havent tried it in a raid, but i expect to do at least 10-12k in VOA.

Surprisingly, I got about the same dps on the dummy with 2x264 1h weapons as i did with H bryntroll and reg glorenzelg.

I use the slow mh and fast oh pvp weapons and did ~14k on normal 10m LK

I was sunder bitch too so take that into account

Honestly theres so many of these threads....check them out, they're pretty good
