Will be interesting to see how Mike Smith manages the clock if they don't immediately score, especially after last week's final minute.

I don't see how that fourth down play isn't some kind of illegal contact.

Oh well. At least it was close. I got a feeling the next game is going to be a blowout.

It was veeery close, good no call though IMO. Ball is in the air during the contact.

What the hell was up with that check down. Gotta go for the hail mary there. Oh well. Time to be put to sleep by CBS commentators. Dunno how I will be able to watch the super bowl this year with it being on CBS.

uh oh, now there's a chance I might actually want to watch the Superbowl and I already made plans for that day

but the Patriots will probably get in and give me cause enough to skip it

Amazed a flag wasn't thrown on that 4th down. Hoping for the Ravens over the Patriots now, not too keen on a Harbaugh final, but it's better than Brady and Belichick being plastered everywhere again for two weeks.
Ex-Mod. Technically retired, they just won't let me quit.

Beyond the five-yard zone, if the player who receives the snap remains in the pocket with the ball, a defender
may use his hands or arms only to defend or protect himself against impending contact caused by a
receiver. If the receiver attempts to evade the defender, the defender cannot chuck him, or extend an
arm(s) to cut off or hook him, causing contact that redirects, restricts, or impedes the receiver in any way.

Not a good non call at all. That said, it was close enough in real time to go either way as for ruling on the field.

yeah well all i gotta say was that it was a makeup call for that horrid "catch" earlier.
that said, the Falcons BLEW a 17 Point lead. THEY DID NOT DESERVE TO WIN.

The Harry Douglas wide open catch? The ball never hit the ground. The hand remained under it at all times, whether it moved or not is irrelevant.

It wasn't a make up call. They showed a replay where the hit happened and the ref immediately throw the flag as soon as the hand hit his helmet. It was an instinct reaction, that ref would have made that call 10 times out of 10.

You know it's a make up call when the refs take 5 seconds to throw their flags.

The 49ers let themselves get down 0-17. THEY DID NOT DESERVE TO WIN. Logic!

Entertaining game, SF looks like the strongest team in the league if you ask me. Superbowl is their's to lose imo.

Now let's hope the Patriots at least make it there, cause I'd rather lose to SF then to the Ravens. :>

Tom Brady will get NE past Ravens, don't worry.

It's windy in New England. Joe Flacco's "throw it deep and hope the best" strategy isn't gonna work this week.
