Well Reed is starting to literally fall apart. He has been dealing with so many injuries the last couple years he has lost a clear step. He is still decent, but he isn't even close to the old Ed Reed. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he retired.

I would have said what conscript said. It's not like this thread is for hard journalism, I was just throwing it out there.

The Seahawks have exactly one bad loss on the road, the Miami game in which the defense completely blew it and the refs literally gave Miami the game on a terrible penalty call.
Losing close is still losing. If it werent than the Carolina Panthers would be considered one of the better teams in the league. They have lost by 6, 2, 4, 5, 1, 6, and 6. Redskins are 7-0 since their bye week. I get Seattle is considered hot too but 7-0 is tough to ignore plus they have home field. If they didnt my pick would be changed. Regardless it wouldnt surprise me if either team won.

    I absolutely loved this picture.

Redskins have I think 2 wins against teams that closed the season with a winning record. Seahawks had 6.

Here is a weird statement from the piss collector responsible for Shermans piss.

" I respect Mr Wallace's decision. It has been frustrating not being able to share my side of the story publicly and respond to the embellished facts and blatant false statements made in regards to the collection. However I am going to continue to respect the confidentiality agreement between the NFL and the NFLPA. Knowing that my faith in the Lord, my family and my friends who know my true character and integrity is what truly matters to me. As a Seahawks fan since 1976 I will continue to root for them to make a deep playoff run."

Does this make him the most famous piss collector ever?

Could he have been more dramatic? He snuck censorship, slander, honor, religion and a personal bias controversy in a statement that could have been summed up with 'I'm unable to talk about that'. Instead of sounding like the trailer to a made for tv movie.

The Whizzinator is more of a piss for you kinda thing than a piss collector, but you're right, he would be the most famous piss collector ever if he was in fact a piss collector.

Andy Reid is about to become the head coach of the Chiefs. Did not expect that. Really thought he would land in Arizona or San Diego.

Hum that's a good hire for the Chiefs and it's a good hire for Reid. I like it better then the Arizona deal and think it's on par with the San Diego deal.

So Andy Reid can ignore Jamaal Charles and have Cassel throw 45 times a game, looking forward to it!

The good news is that Charles was still pretty awesome this year despite the THREE games where he ran the ball 9 or fewer times (9, 6, and 5 none of which were injury related iirc). The better news is Shady is going to maybe, possibly destroy people in fantasy next year. Close your eyes for a second and imagine Shady in the Chip Kelly system. No go to the bathroom and change your pants because they are soaked.

I'm not sure how ugly Cassel's contract is but I doubt he'd be a Chief next year

He is owed around $21 million over the last two years of his deal. Not sure how much if any of that is the $28 million he was guaranteed in his 6 year $63 million deal. There would probably be some cap hold associated with cutting him also (basically the biggest problem with Sanchez for the Jets).

well there's no way his contract is as damning as Sanchez's since the Jets were stupid enough to 100% guarantee it next season, I have to assume there is some pro-rated signing bonus that will apply but that hasn't stopped teams from cutting loose dead weight before
so unless they want a $7mil+ insurance policy I'm sure he's gone, probably they draft somebody, and then if Kolb or Vick get released Reid might want to scoop them up to bridge the gap to the new guy since those are his guys and their price is probably at their lowest points if they hit the market

but really they need to just finalize the Reid hiring and dump Pioli so they can start re-making the team

looks like his cap hit is $9.8mil next year, they shave off $7.5mil of it next year if he's gone and $9mil off in 2014, seems like a given for a team clearly rebuilding now

A team with 5 pro bowlers is rebuilding..? Trying to reach double digits?

To be fair one of them made it because of his score on Madden; Tamba Hali has been pretty effective at being a non-factor this year. Eric Berry has been pretty mediocre too.

    //edit

As a Broncos fan I'm ecstatic about this move. Although KC wasn't a factor this year, Charles is a dangerous back and I'd hate to have to play him when he's on a roll. Getting a coach whose philosophy involves throwing first is the best thing that could happen for the rest of the AFC West.
