During the Idle position the rider swings from left to right while trying to hold the banner still. It looks like wowmodelviewer stuff when mounted. (worgen)
All other races don't seem to have this problem.

The horde has some armor on it, but haven't seen anyone ingame holding up a banner or anything.

to the people earlier in the thread, if you don't like the banners then ride one of the other 150+ mounts in the game

You have to be guild level 25 and be exalted with your guild to get it, same with the scorpion mount for horde.
Wowhead is also reporting them as being BOA, I don't understand how that would work though and I doubt it really is.
