feral dps weapons

i was wondering about weapons after recent patch...
i currently have : http://www.wowhead.com/item=50998

would i be an upgrade to get like heroic oxheart or the mace from LK for example ?

ofc i would rather go for weapons with agi, but if something else drops and it is an upgrade why not use that

also i read something about weapon dmg affecting your dps is that correct ?
