About us
Epoch Origin is a dual faction to be community driven Cataclysm Reroll guild. That's right, both factions, sister guilds running through the same home page and forums.
The goal of Epoch Origin is to bring everyone together into one well...2 guilds.
Looking for Cataclysm reroll guilds? There are a number them, some fade away in time, new ones rise. The ones that stay active typically only have a few active members each.
This does not work, everyone needs to come together and create one large mass reroll event. I want this to be not only influenced by the community but controlled, tell me what YOU want, tell everyone else what you want, discuss it, our forums are open.
By bringing all rerollers together there will be little to no gaps in the level stream, since everyone is allowed to level at their own pace, not everyone will be the same.. but if you get enough people together and I guarantee you can find a party that lines up with your play-style and schedule.
End Game Goals
While this is still slightly up in the air depending on the amount of players that stick around. Our goal is to form a 25man core group for the more hardcore minded players and 1 or 2 10man groups for the more casual.
PvP groups will also be formed for mass all guild battlegroup fun, as well as teams for the new rated battlegrounds.
Q&A Is there a age limit? No, despite what some may believe age has little to do with ones mental maturity, as long as you can follow the rules, no one will be turned away.
Are RaF and BoAs allowed? Yes they are, if that's your play-style then more power to ya.
Are transfers allowed? Yes they are, if you wish to transfer over a old main/alt for boas or gold you're welcome to. Just note that if you ask for a guild invitation on these toons, they shall remain an alt.
It seems that a raid can be formed by members of H:Epoch, would the raiding schedule need to be approved by you, or can it be by consensus of the raiders? Soon as we have enough members and a more accurate idea of a time everyone can make, raid scheduling will be set by the raid leaders. I am merely a overseer, Ive never had the intention of being the godly guild leader that controls all aspects of the guild. I'll simply be keeping things in order.
What do you forsee loot rules being? This is still up in the air and will be discussed in the future and overall decided by the people
What do YOU want out of your guild in Cataclysm? Fun. Something Ive been repeating since day 1 to those around me, its a game, enjoy it. If you find yourself greatly stressed over something such as a raid, or losing in PvP then its time to take a breather and re-think things. My plans are to enjoy experiencing new content for the first time along side others, raiding soon as I'm 85, and organizing a team for the new rated battlegrounds.
Will your main be Horde side or Alliance side? While I will be rolling on both, my main focus will be my Goblin Priest on the Horde side.
Are there going to be leveling time frames? No, I want everyone to level at their own pace, RaF and BoAs are allowed, hopefully we'll have enough players for it to not matter. I'll personally be using BoAs I brought over on my transfer specifically for my priest. No RaF though, I want to see as many of the new quests as I can.
Rules
!Upon breaking a rule the player will be warned once, and only once. If the player chooses to ignore said warning, it shall be followed by a swift guild removal!
*Respect all players, not one person is the same and personality's can sometimes collide with each-other, if you find a person is bothering you without breaking a rule, please respectfully and maturely avoid further conflict.
*No racial slurs, this will not be tolerated.
*Do not discuss politics or religion within the guild, please take these discussions to private areas such as whispers.
*Do no not bash other players, games, guilds, etc. Bashing is immature, rude, and entirely unnecessary. If you truly feel the need to do this, make it private, and indirect.
*Guild bank. Do not withdraw items from the guild bank just to sell, items provided by officers and other members are for leveling and progressing, if you are in need of gold please look into gaining it through your own means, or perhaps kindly asking a member of the guild for a loan.
*No linking pornography or other inappropriate content within the guild.
*Be nice, if you happen to be questing in the same area, same quest as another member kindly ask if they would like to join parties, don’t intentionally try to tag more mobs than they can for example.
