    Second most OP class ( cata )

    What do you think is the most OP class after mages?

    my vote goes to locks since they get less dmg than a warr with shield wall on, they heal more than priests, they do more damage than rogues, and their pet
    hits harder than the BM hunter's

    Yeah but Spriests heal the raid/party, lock is just self.

    Deeming a class OP is the tinder that fuels flame wars. Just sayin.

    Each class has strengths and weaknesses. See also: balanced for 85, not 80. You got 1 more month to tough it out.

    infact I said "cata" and no, locks are not balanced at all at 85, no way

    No, but have you read the nerf bat incoming to them in beta? A ton of their abilities are being nerfed across all specs.

    those changes have been applied already, still they are OP. base damage doesn't affect lvl 85 dmg that much

    It is only a nerf to the base damage of the spells, and it being 12% means it isn't even that big of a nerf, more like a dps tweaking pass.

    EDIT: Oops, Trax beat me too it, like he said it has little effect on a raid ready geared Lock at lvl 85.

    I don't know how you figure that "A new build will be deployed on beta realms soon" and the fact it was posted two days ago means that it's already done. Are you in beta? Can you confirm when this build was deployed?

    Also, the fact that they are tweaking numbers means they're watching lock and ready to deploy other measures to ensure they aren't OP by the time of launch. Again, they still have a month of tweaking.

    yep, I am in teh beta, basically as soon as you see those post on the front page, they are already in game

    I hope so, however I am worried more about their cc and survabilty which is insane
