Ctrl as modifier problem

Hey peeps, Im having some trouble with this macro:

#showtooltip [modifier:ctrl] Rupture; Kidney Shot
/cast [modifier:ctrl] Rupture; Kidney Shot


What I want it to do is to Kidney when pressed, and then Ctrl + bind = rupture. I can only get it to work when I click it, not when I press it. I have checked my keybinds to see if I have CTRL + 1-9 bound to anything, but there is nothing. I have no idea why it wont work

Well, according to my memory, the ctrl+1-9 is key bindings for the pet bar. Perhaps you should try to unbind these buttons in the key bindings.

I just tried making one bound to E, with modifier CTRL. Still doesnt work.

Set CTRL+bind as alternate keybind on the macro button, then un-set that to make sure nothing else is bound to it.

Holy shit, that actually worked!

I just talked to a GM, and he told me that the *only* way around this problem, was to delete my cache, interface and WTF folders. Glad I didnt do that!
