Lvl requirement on 525 professions?

I have heard a report that there will be a lvl84 requirement to get past 500 on cata professions? Is this the case or have I been successfully trolled?

No You dont, you can Max lvl to 525
Gathering: lvl 70 required
Non-gathering: lvl 80 required

Level requirement for professions is actually 75, and if you read my post, you will see there is a lvl req. for some of the professions.

so is it required lvl 75 for both Gathering and Non-gathering?
