Agito is recruiting dedicated end-game players for Cataclysm. We plan to Raid 10man content.

About us

Hello and thank you for your interest in applying to Agito.

We are a group of friends that have collectively experienced all of the end game in World of Warcraft, from Vanilla to Wrath of the Lich King; including Naxx40 in vanilla, to the Light of Dawn achievement in WotLK.

We are an English speaking guild and aim to conquer all of the 10 man PvE raiding content that Blizzard implements into the game, both normal and hard mode. We are looking for exceptionally skilled players to join our ranks.

At this point we will consider all applications thoroughly as we have a clean canvas to work off. If you feel you have something to offer, we want to hear from you. Please contact me in-game if you feel you are looking for a leadership/officer role.

We will raid Wednesday, Sunday and Monday from 20:30 - 23:30(max) server time.

Raid times may exceed this window if we are very close to a kill – this will always be decided by a raid vote. We expect 80% attendance over a monthly period, essentially meaning you may miss 1 out 6 raids.

If you think that you are an exceptional player, capable of learning fights quickly, understanding the theorycraft to improve your ability to tank, heal or dps effectively and approach raids with passion and ambition, we want to hear from you.

To begin with, our loot distribution system will be trialled using Blizzard's Group Loot system. This will not count on any legendary items, which will be decided internally amongst the officers and raiders.


Before applying, you must fit the following criteria:

• Have a level 80 character with decent raid gear (average itemlevel 251, or higher) fully gemmed, enchanted and be appropriately reforged.
  
  
• Are over 18
  
  
• Have a respectful, mature attitude - Dramalamas and lootwhores aren't appreciated
  
  
• Able to maintain 75% attendance. It is also in the best interests of initiates to maintain maximum attendance per week for us to judge performance fairly
  
  
• Have a decent amount of raiding experience; experience from previous content is always a plus, but not mandatory - proof of ability to overcome difficult achievements/hard modes will increase the chance we will recruit you.
  
  
• You fully understand your class and how game mechanics work, understanding and staying updated on theorycrafting regarding your class is expected
  
  
• Able to bring Flasks/Elixirs and Food Buffs to raids
  
  
• Able to use the in-game guild calendar to accept/decline raid events at least 1 day in advance, and posting on the guild's Raid forums if unable to turn up
  
  
• Willing to respec if needed for certain encounters

It is also expected that you have a decent computer and stable internet connection so you do not disrupt raiding. Everyone get's the odd dc, we know that, but if you're comprimising the raid group for a prolonged period you will be removed from the raid.

You should be able to enjoy raiding even if we wipe for several days on the harder content to come, and preferably offer constructive solutions in how to tackle the content in a more effective way, dont be negative, like "its not going to happen we will never going to down him" and such, etc.

You do not need to go critting walls of text in your application, but a short application with little to no effort put into it is very likely to be auto-declined!
