My point exactly. You're saying they suck, but you know nothing (Jon Snow) about them, other than what little you've seen in a prequel that does not show Saber's true self, and one that does not show Rin at all (aside from Loli-Rin), as well as one that is a parody series that is irrelevant to F/SN as a whole.

Rin I can understand you taking issue with me judging her character based off of F/Illya, but even if Saber is different in F/SN, I still think me finding her not a noteworthy character as a result of watching F/Z is completely fair. Unlike F/Illya, F/Z wasn't a parody and Saber was a prominent character. And while my perception of Rin and the other female characters that weren't in F/Z (Or at least not entirely relevant) may be flawed, I can only base it off what I've seen.

Agreed. But again, F/Z is a small part of what her character largely ends up being. My point is you're looking at the beginning and basing your opinion off that, not what the final outcome is. Keep in mind that F/Z is not part of Saber's "original" character - F/Z was created after F/SN, and showed her as she was before the events of F/SN changed her character.

F/Z Saber =/= F/SN Saber.

Those characters exist in series other than F/SN though. Me commenting on them was perfectly fine.

Saber is the only one in F/Z (Rin doesn't count, neither does does Illya). F/Illya is a parody, and is not part of the primary Nasuverse. It's not "them," in a sense.

Well, I don't really mind it if the theory is correct. It's just the right amount of melancholic sadness if the trope is used well.

Can't say I mind it either, really. Means you know things will end with the best performance of the manga/anime She's a great character too and the way I see it right now, it'll end with her "reaching" everyone and having managed to get Kousei back into the piano fully and the way he wants to play, his own style, rather than the "metronome" way. And, ofc, he'll be playing for her no matter what ;_; I expect many feels before it's over.

Just imagine the final episode: her in a hospital bed, tubed up and connected to the machines and him playing Ode to Joy(yeah, it just fits the situation because Gunslinger Girl). The screen slowly fades to black and then her funeral comes in, the sound of piano uninterrupted. I wanna feels. :<
