Magi: And here I hoped the series would cut off in a good spot and then carry on when the manga goes ahead far enough... I hate anime original endings, and that's what this new development is going for. :/
its currently still perfectly in sync with the manga? it will prolly end after hakurei gets his djinn from this dungeon or after they won vs the al sarmen guys afterwards or maybe will go even further to the point where they actually split up what would make a pretty good ending for season 1 in my opinion ;P
There was no curse of any sort involved with the dungeon quest in the manga. It was introduced only in the anime and it will either be of no consequence to the plot, which is stupid but excusable, or is a set-up for an anime-original ending of some sort. I am afraid the latter is more likely.
but it was lol ;O u know how sinbad just survives it because he has black and light rhuk in him anyway?
It must have been a long time since you read the manga. I stopped at 10th volume recently, for no explicit reason, and just went back to confirm a second ago - absolutely no curse of any sort was involved in this dungeon conquering quest Sindbad has imposed on Alibaba and co. Open volume 9, that arc's introduction is in its' final chapters. Maybe that curse is something that was moved from story much further ahead, part of the manga I have yet to reach and you confused the chronology?
i dont have volumes only read chapters ;P but what they left out was the fight between sinbad and princess :X but yeah could be that they mixed up the timing
in chapter 114 u can see it btw i didnt find where he got it but should have been at the same time as the anime ^^

Sakurasou: ಠ_ಠ
...Fuuuuu~
Why would they have a character as sincerely nice as Aoyama get nothing but crap, despite easily being the most dilligent and hard-working person at Sakurasou, and have a character like Sorata, who becomes increasingly unlikable with each demonstration of his proneness to throwing capricious tantrums when anyone says something he doesn't want to hear, even when they are obviously right, be granted amazing opportunities, just dropped in his lap, after applying himself half-heartedly to something which he wasn't even particularly passionate about and his more naturally talented friends carried him through. It makes him even more of a disdainful MC.
I know they are probably trying to offer a realistic scenario, in that sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you will be unable to achieve the things you want to and that you just have to deal with it, but I feel like that is a terrible to message to take away from a show! Especially one that I have thoroughly enjoyed right up until the last few most recent episodes, but I am having a hard time finding anything else apart from, perhaps, sometimes it's okay to rely on your friends, but I hardly find that satisfying.
This is fiction, there should be a silver lining! There's enough hopelessness and straight-forward despair in the real world without having to watch that shit play out in escapist media too! D'x
Oh, Nanami! Why must they make you suffer so?!
With Daichi? Aye. That'd be nice (as he really seems to be a cooler guy than Sorata at this point) and they have at least established it as a possibility gradually, if only as initially being unrequited, but she seemed to be more appreciative of his affection in the most recent episode. Still, I'd much rather see her achieve the thing she has worked hard for most of her life than end up with a boy, even if he is the better one.
Yeah, I think Rita x Ryuu was my favourite part of this episode. I liked Maid-chan's disgruntled warming up to Rita and realising she has Ryuu's best interests in mind. That was uber cute. As was her hiding guiltily at the edge of the computer screen! /)^3^(\
I need a Maid-chan app on my phone!
Same, although I'm not a huge fan of the possibility of her ending up with Daichi since she pretty much confessed to Sorata ~2-3 episodes ago. He really needs to get more screen time.
Yeah pretty much the highlight of this episode. Do want that app. Maid-chan has been A+ since day 1.Yeah, I think Rita x Ryuu was my favourite part of this episode. Yeah, that is true. I was expecting him to bike all the way to the station so that she'd see, but alas, the poor fool frustratingly fell down exhausted. xI
It would be awesome if done right. Like a really slick personal organiser programme with loads of varied, fully-voiced responses and alerts. I'd happily fork over a bit of money for something good, though considering it'd likely need to be translated, you'd probably have to pirate it. >.<
I love her USB tail ...thing.
Jojo Otome Visual Novel, oh god, Dio and Joseph. Yes pls.

Anime is right now around chapter 86 and, as I've been saying, neither Alibaba nor Sindbad have been inflicted with curse of any sort in the chapters leading up to and including the dungeon conquest. You've got your chronology wrong.
If anime has moved events from further ahead to an earlier point in the story it means they are compressing parts of the tale in order to create an ending earlier, and that smells of anime original ending.

Sakurasou - Why is there so much failure in this show. It's heartbreaking.
Hayate - Just finished the second season. I liked it a lot more than the first just because it was a bit more streamlined in the story and overall better done. It's too bad that Manglobe took it and went on an anime original spree, the end of the second season left off at a perfect place especially with the two best girls affirming their love of Hayate. Two questions if anyone can answer them, where did the second season end in the manga and is the movie from the manga or an anime original story?
Anyone know any good sci-fi anime that focus around space/space ship battles? Something like the Stargate series.
