New AKB was great. A bunch of songs, some awesome action, a fair amount of yuri, and a lot of color. The episode was like a rainbow.

I loved the backdrop art for where they had the trial.

Also excited to see who gets center and who wins the general election. Probably Nagisa and/or Chieri.

Looks like a villain was also set up with Chieri's dad.

Also, Yuuko is amazing.

i've read this stuff on evetaku's pdf with stuff about akb and there was something with position 0 being the center position and with akb0048 having 2 0's in the middle being 2 center positions for the anime.

still downloading the ep tho, nets been a pain the first 30mins. 8mins to go and then akb time.

I totally forgot about that. I remember discussing that when the first season was airing. If it would be any of them it'd be Nagisa and Chieri then.

One thing the first season didn't have much of was story progression, because it was bringing us into the world and introducing us to a lot of AKB's songs. Just the ending of the first episode here shows that the second season is going to be more focused on story with both center and elections, and against the enemy.

Yup, second season of Bakemonogatari which I believe has the rest of the novels in it. As well as Kizumonogatari which will be out never.
