i have a question has this item been removed from the game? i went to the flight trianer in dalaran and it would only let me train flying not buy anything

Yes, you don't buy the account bound tome anymore, you can train cold weather flying from level 68 direct without needing a level 80 alt (since 4.0.1). The price was also halved to 500g.
