No more specialisation or bug ? ie. Tribal, Primal Leatherworking

Heya

anyone else noticed that the items from profession specials like tibal leatherworking cant be used anymore?

my good old pvp toon cant wear

anymore. afaik the profession requirement should have been removed and everyone is able to make and wear it.
instead even with the specialisation i cant equip it

I have noticed this too, kinda sucks when I went to lvl my moonkin from 70...wearing that whole set lol.

The removal of specializations was intended, but yes, i had some dragonscale-only gear saved too, and when i was going to (for once) use them, i couldnt. I am saving them, hoping that blizz will remove the specialization tags on them.

I dare say it's a bug that they didn't remove the specialisation tags from all pieces. On the other hand, it's likely a bug far down on their priority list right now.

I was leveling Blacksmithing on a warrior tank alt for the lvl 70 upgradable epic tanking sword. Could not find a way to train specialisations or the old recepies with the requirements removed. A GM confirmed it: they are out of the game (again?) and as of 4.0.1 no longer attainable. Shame imho, I would love to sport a proper weapon at lvl 70

Same thing has happened with Tailoring, but my Alchemist still has Xmute master and still procs, bug i presume

I think only the armor crafters had their specializations taken out. Engineers and alchemists still have theirs.
