Fire, without a doubt.

There is something special about conjuring big fireballs to incinerate your opponents.
I guess that's also why I played destruction 95% of the time on my warlock.

In cata it would definitely be frost for me (and I hope everyone else since arcane and fire are both really easy). The rotation is so much more fun in Cata and I advise you all to at least try it out when cata hits.

Ability to movecast. Delicious and random Pyroblast procs. Overall more fun environment to raid with instead of lolspamming one move.

Def Fire, reasons being: cause Pyroblast looks amazing , Arcane is boring, frost just doesn't feel right unless my name is something unoriginal like Frost, mrfreeze, or subzero.

Absolutely fire. Pyroblast Procs are incredibly cool. And if you still remember the six second pyroblast cast, you'll always feel awesome being able to make it instant.
Arcane is incredibly dull, barely any RNG to it, and the max DPS rotation is spam arcane blast, you only cast arcane missiles to conserve mana.
I've tried frost, and it's actually rather fun. A lot more fun the arcane. However, it's not as competitive as the other two, so it loses luster there, and makes it very undesirable to play in competitive raiding.

I was playing Fire and Arcane simultaneously in TBC, when they were lacking sooo much. Or well, maybe they were good and I sucked.

I voted Fire, but really, I think Arcane felt even cooler.

Seriously, Fire is my favorite spec right now. With all the new toys we got with the Cata expansion talents, it's a load of fun: Combustion is finally an interesting DPS cooldown; instant flamestrike + blastwave; cauterize; and my favorite--mobile scorch.

Arcane is cool in concept, but works out to be a little stale. They put way too much damage into Arcane Blast and ruined AM and ABarr.

Frost is just boring for PvE--frostbolt with procs.

I think frost is by far the most fun, but I somehow like the aspect of it that it's not the one most mages use. I want to use and for me to do that it would need to do DPS pretty close to fire and arcane, but I almost want it to be just under the other two so not every mage switches to it.

Arcane all the way. Love healing, love casters, arcane becomes the mix of both, dps with mana management, of course all do but not to the same degree as arcane.
