i bought the game and played it for an intense week, now i'm over it (i may try the changes they added for halloween)

this is really good and new in the gaming experience, really encourage to try it,

well after a certain moment, it's too time consuming and worse than wow in term of productivity ; basically you just spend your days digging stuff

i like to check youtube for videoq of stuff people created in the game, that were not designed at the conception of the game, like creeps traps, etc

It's a good game when played casually now and again, I wouldn't enjoy it in terms of playing it constantly for a week or so.

I cannot take credit for it though it was about 10 ppl all in that built it (cleared and paved the area then admin type's filled the flame in).

My friends and I ended up building some airships and a glass-enclosed underwater city on my server. It was pretty fun, though a crash erased everything

Found Minecraft a few monts ago, and a bunch of guildies and I eventually made a server. With Cata coming out, I doub I'll be playing it much for a long time.

Anyways, did a few cover videos of my single player world, and a bunch of our (lots more exciting) multiplayer server. Heck, Jx23 even did a tour of the server

Granted, the first one is rather dull, because it's just my SP server, but I've featured a lot of niffy projects in the MP videos.

[Against the Modern World]

I've read a little about it, but still don't understand. Is it a game for people who can't afford to buy/can't handle a 3D modelling program like 3ds Max?

It's a lot more than a "Modeling Program", especially on Survival Mode. The first thing about the game you will quickly notice is you have to find every resource required to make stuff (On Survival Mode), you cant just pull it out of your ass (which makes it different than a Modeling Program. Second, is it has Zombies, no clue why it does, but it just does, which is awesome. And it also has long term goals to make it harder to get bored like, Crafting, making Portals, and Higher Tier Armor and things like that.

Sometimes the most simple thing makes the game much more fun than other games. And if you think it will stay Simple, it is still in the Alpha and is producing new patches with new content very rapidly.

ive just finished making a rollercoaster cart launch and reload system which waits for someone to get into the cart, then gets it moving, and puts a new cart on the track ready for the next rider. ill have to try to get a video of it up.

yeah it's a cool game, tried it for a few weeks and its' getting more addicting ..soon cata will come out and I'll be deep in an underground cave!
