Hi, I know you said your looking for Ally primarily but we are a 10man only guild on Malfurion - PVE - Horde side.

Our goal for the guild is Realm Firsts in 10man content, as well as a decent presence in rated bg's. We currently have 2 tanks, 6 dps and 2 healers ready for the expansion but are looking for more really solid players focused on going through heroic content in cata. We are a little bare bones right now cause a lot of our players are taking a break until cata is actually released but that is our goal and we will be recruiting to make it happen.

Our raid times will vary with what were actually doing at the time, opening up to around 4 raid nights (maybe 5) during progression, and easing down to 1-2 nights max during farm. As far as the time goes, your play time is in line with all of our members and were looking for around 8pm-9pm starts finishing around 12pm - 1am.

Our members come from a variety of backgrounds, all skilled with experience in raiding going back vanilla. Another requirement is that your at least 18 years old, as our members are University students and Adult Professionals.

Though we are a relatively new guild, the members of <Bad Karma> (PVE – Aerie Peak PST) are no strangers to each other. Our raiding core has been together though most of Wrath, plowing our way to 11/12 HMs in ICC 10/25 and getting our drakes.

We're a “High end progression with a casual time-slot” guild. We only raid two days a week (a third if we're close to pushing progression) putting in approximately 8-12 hours a week and still keep up with our Hard core brothers.

We have a GM, but the guild leadership shares all responsibility, no one officer is above the other. While we try to be flexible with policies, there are some that remain firm:

We have a no tolerance policy for Drama. While we may settle things on a case-by-case basis we are adamant in our stance that if a player is causing issues that affect either the guild as a whole, the progression team(s) or other players, a guild-kick will swiftly follow. Any member is always welcome to approach a member in a leadership position if they have any concerns or issues, and the best efforts will be made to ensure Bad Karma is a great gaming and social environment for everyone.

While guild and raid chat may manifest itself in various ways, members are expected to conduct themselves in an acceptable fashion when interacting outside of the guild. Having our guild tag means you represent us to the community at large. We are all here to enjoy this game, so be courteous to fellow players and treat them as you would have them treat you. We encourage everyone to make use of the forums, guild and official, as a source of communication and participate in the various topics.

In a raid, only the Raid Leader and/or Master Looter should be looting any bosses. Loot is then distributed with the EPGP system. We ask that you keep vent chatter to a minimum, only the Raid Leader and those with important roles (ie. Tanks or healers coordinating CDs) should be talking in vent during boss fights.

Access to Ventrilo and able to understand and speak English.
Mature-aged applicants only.
A computer able to run World of Warcraft well and a stable connection to the intrawebs.
80% or higher raid attendance.
If the need arose, be able to respec/gem/glyph your class to fit the raid needs.
Knowledge to play, gem, and spec(s) your class well.
Knowledge of encounters before you get to them.
Flasks and elixirs are required. (Fish feasts are provided)

Our raid times are as follows:
Tuesday – 6:00 -9:30p Server
Thursday – 6:00-9:30p Server
Sunday – 6:00-9:30p Server (only if we're pushing progression)

Hello Noratheen,

My 10-man raiding team, The Insurrection, is seeking our final core member -- an excellent resto Shaman -- to prepare for Cataclysm raiding. We are a founding team of guild <Dread>, a hardcore raiding guild on Hyjal (US-PvE). <Dread> has four 10-man teams who all share the same raiding values and are excited to start Cata strong. We'll be competing for server firsts against other Hyjal guilds and doing all we can to put <Dread> on top.

The Insurrection is led by Solaya (spriest), a player who was part of a Top-50 guild for years. He has excellent achievements, including completing Sunwell pre-M'uru-nerf, and has led raids before. Many of us Insurrection members have been officers in top server guilds in the past, and have played for years -- myself since early 2005. Together, we are a 12/12 HM ICC and Heroic Ruby Sanctum team.

We would be very interested in discussing the guild with you. You may have conflicts:
- We are PST timezone, so our 7-10 raid schedule means raiding until 1am EST
- We are Horde

If these issues can be overcome, I think you would find our guild an excellent fit. Everyone in <Dread> has solid, long-term WoW experience. We enjoy raiding seriously, so our raids are both fun and productive!
