Dichotomy is a Horde guild on the Malfurion server. Our ambitions are simple: to conquer end game content in both pve and pvp formats, thus combining the two aspects of the game that have often acted as divisive factor rather than a unifying one. We strive for progression in a low-drama environment and are looking for players that share our goals. More than experience and gear, we look for members to have a mature attitude. During all non-raid hours (and assuming we have the player base to support pre-made groups).
Rated Battleground teams will likely compete on Sundays and Mondays.

- We are a newly established guild, fresh from a foreign server. Our founders have extensive experience in both end game raiding as well as gladiatorial combat and have been playing the game for over five years.
- Progression will be updated as it is completed in Cataclysm.

About Dichotomy:
- Dichotomy is a 10 Man hybrid raiding/pvp guild on the US-Malfurion realm. (Willing to expand should facilitate the change.)
- We are a progression minded guild looking to experience end game content in both pve and pvp formats, without allowing the game to control our lives.
- Our raid hours are short in comparison to hardcore guilds only raiding 09 Hrs/Week but in that time, we accomplish a lot clearing progression content on a weekly basis.
- After our raid week is concluded, we focus on pvp (with an emphasis on rated battlegrounds).
- Our raid atmosphere is relaxed, but with the mindset of completing our tasks whether its farm or hard-modes.
- DKP system is still being decided.
- While we encourage applicants to be willing to participate in both aspects of the game, a player looking strictly to pvp or strictly to raid will be given equal considerations.
What We Are Looking For:
-Exceptional players who know their own class including all current theorycrafting. Applicants are expected to be properly specced, gemmed, and glyphed, as well as have appropriate item level gear for our progression content.
-Applicants are expected to research game mechanics before a new encounter. For raids, applicants are required to use 3 mods: a boss mod, threat meter, and a DKP mod (to be announced later).
-Most importantly, we want players with good raid awareness, a good personality, and someone who doesn’t shy away from dialogue on Ventrilo.
