    Casual BGing

    Hey folks,

Guild is on a raid hiatus and as such I've taken up a bit of casual PvP doing random BGs on my DK. I'm in 262 tank gear running around in an Unholy PvP spec for the BGs since I have absolutely no PvP gear.

I'm curious about how I should approach PvP in regards to the gear at this moment. Should I continue to use my tank gear as I seem to be able to reasonably hold my own or is the 251 (relentless I think?) PvP gear a far greater benefit to me? Should I just save the Honor and roll it into PvP gear at 85?

    Thanks!

It depends, do you want to buy gear that will be worthless in two weeks at 85 or gear that will be OK at 85?

well heres the thing, if you can dedicate 1 day on a bg weekend, you will hit caped honor twice (mattering on how well you do, wins, yada yada) i would say, go for pvp gear, it upsets me how fast you can go from none to nearly full wrathful since i spent a good 600 games (2v2 3v3 and 5v5) just to my shoulders, i would say get the weapon first (2hander sword, mace if orc)then resil trinket then work on head, shoulders, chest, and do Voa for the chance on legs and gloves, if no drop, snag those next, belt, boots, bracers and cape and be on your mairy way, if you would like to see which cape, neck i snagged, my armory is in the sig =]

    Quick question:

Doesn't Wrathful require Arena ratings or some such?

Only the shoulders and t2 weapons currently. Everything else has had their prereqs removed.
Congratulations, your mind has been expanded.

What to do is, get 4000 honour, then buy a piece and don't buy another until you're back capped at 4000. This way you'll always be close to 4000 for Cata.
