I'm having a simular issue trying to find a laptop to buy.

I'm also considering between Asus (n71jq-xt1) and Qosmio (x505-q888).

I would go with option B, personally. Seeing as it is a dual core with 4GB of ram. I don't know much, but I know that much makes your gameplay experience all the more enjoyable.

    You realize they both have:
    4GB RAM
    GTS 360M 1GB DDR5 Video Cards
    500GB HDD
    DVD+RW Drive

    Differences:
    Monitor Size (16" v 18.4")
    Processor (2.26GHz v 2.4GHz)

Option B is better by far, no need to even run a poll on it.

Faster CPU, bigger monitor and it's brand new with full warranty, instead of refurbished junk.

It also shows in pricetag pretty clearly which one is better.

Lol, he is so right. Would've been better if one had atleast a 20"+ monitor, bigger the better. But they would charge like an extra $200 because of it.
