Not so much a pet or anything but a quest out in Western Plaguelands gives a mace. It's not your everyday mace, oh no. It is a Frying Pan! I'll be making my belf pally a wedding dress, she will equip her pan of WOE and pvp. Nothing more scary than seeing a woman in a wedding dress wielding a frying pan coming at you.

yea you get him in darkshore...there's a cave up near the shatter spear camp, up above where the whirlpool is. When you head there go all the way to the bottom and you'll see a forsaken vendor.

There's also the tiny flamefly in Burning Steppes. Do the quests in Flamestar Post and Chislegrip. All of them are required to continue the chain from Ariok and his father, Eitrigg. At the end you get sent to Flamecrest and the goblin makes you catch some fireflies and rewards with one as a minipet. This is all for Horde, not sure what Alliance has to do.

There are many new fun trinkets from lowlvl Qing. dont remember from where all are but.
one trinekt summons a squire that fights for you. another summons a rainbow
also there is a wand from exalted timbermaw that transforms you into a timbermaw furbolg now D

if you want vanity items. doing loremaster (again) is your best course.

for me it took 5 hrs, with tank ques, soooo, possible 6-9hrs for dps

took me 2 1/2 hours with a guildgroup with an average instance time below 10 minutes, so yeah...it's quite fast to get up that rep
