the home theatre PC still waiting for the processer wasnt too bad a cable job for no areas to hide cables. got an old 2400 pro sitting in there with a single 6 pin conversion sitting next to it in case i feel the need to put in a 5750 or something later on.

Any reason you choose that case over a full tower case ? If I had your budget I would be looking at something like the HAF-X, corsair 600T/650D/800D, Antec 1200, or NZXT Phantom personally. Also you didnt mention a aftermarket cpu cooler and with a i5-2500k I'm assuming overclocking is in the mix.
EDIT: I wouldnt recommend your chosen PSU in a midtower case its a cable management nightmare imo , I had the TX750 in a Antec 900 and figuring out what to do with the extra cables was god awful. This should do nicely if you are going for a single HDD, single optical drive, single GPU setup. Its partially modular and the 750w is enough for that kind of setup and its at the same price point of the TX850 v2 (with the rebate on newegg)

Couldn't believe it was a mATX build when you claimed to be able to fit a GTX580 and a CNPS10X, then I looked up that case - wow, what a stylish and interesting little case! Although I will say that it's fairly large for an mATX case, no wonder it can fit all those big components.

I wouldn't dream of recommending the 600D or the 800D to be honest. I'd recommend the Level 10 GT, any HAF model, CM 690 II, and a number of other cases that slip my mind right now.
As for cable management, you're honestly spouting piss. It's about the same as in a full tower. You won't see worse or better results unless you swap for a semi- or entirely modular powersupply, such as the Seasonic X series or Corsair's AX/HX series.
