it has 3 pci x16 slots, you could use the top and bottom ones to have a gap in between if the sli bridge reaches (probably doesn't)

but yeah, the looks of that image there's onyl 1 pci slot between each of the x16s, using 2 slot graphics card = no room

supports 3 way sli .. as long as you don't mind 2 of them having no space for the fan :P

Regarding PCI-E x16 Spacing I just think Xuvial meant in general, not that it didn't exist exceptions.

There's the the ASUS P8P67 WS Revolution for Sandy Bridge then. The one I was supposed to have..

Thanks! I'll try to upload some pictures this weekend with the monitors and tower in it. My desk is less than clean at the moment.

Cool. How come you didn't use the ASUS SLI bridge that is the perfect length for the spacing? No issue using a longer one afaik, just on the aesthetics side.

Also, do you really _need_ the fans on the RAM? I also have closed loop LCS and haven't given much of a damn about the effect on surrounding components not getting airflow, maybe too little of a damn.

If he's overclocking or running a 2133mhz+ kit then I'd say yes, the RAM can get pretty hot.
The benefits of OC'ing RAM on P67 is a different story however :P

Must push 5.3GHz!!! It might just make that a plausible idea.

Honestly, I didn't even think about using the one that came with the mobo. That would mean I have to go and find the box and the parts and AHHH, too much effort :P I will take a look though. I don't even remember seeing it but if it looks better than that tacky copper colored one then I am all about it!

As far as the fans on the RAM goes, I just wanted to keep everything in my case this time around as cool as possible. I doubt I really "NEED" the fans but it was only like $15. My last system which was 8gb of DDR 2 RAM seemed to put out some decent heat. I just said, why not. The ram is 1600 so it's nothing crazy. That fan does seem kind of insignificant when you think the HAF X has 4, 200mm fans in it though.

Also, I want to see some more builds! It's a great way to pass the time.

Imo those cool Kingston RAM coolers with the LEDs are decent for aesthetics. Most people don't have them so they kind of stand out... however I'd definitely lower their speeds on the fans because small fans = LOUD.

I'd be tempted to grab one of those little fans and stick it in my Sabertooth's ass--I mean the thermal armor air ventilation system. See if it blows air everywhere and lowers mobo temps :P

Ok I finally caved in to the one part that I had never experienced for myself - sound.

So after literally 3 weeks of in-depth research and several questions with the audiophile community, I have decided to take my sound setup to a whole new level with these:

    Sennheiser HD558 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826106515

    Coupled with this:
    Asus Xonar STX - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...E16829132010&T

This will cost me a ton and I haven't made the decision lightly, but I REALLY like my music, have a ton of FLAC and 320kbps files and I want to goddamn HEAR them with the soundstage and beauty of bass, mids and highs and want to get immersed into them.

Oh and this will also kick ass in gaming - not as much as a Xi-Fi card, I know, but it'll still be 50,000x better than onboard (or so I hear). BF3 sounds, here I come.

Of course not, I'm just linking so people know what I'm talking about :P

If I could buy from Newegg I'd probably own a warehouse full of computer parts by now and run my own business off them.

This is exactly the setup I'd love to get. I agree it is costly, but when you really love music, you'll do anything. Congrats on your decision and I can't wait to hear back from ya about it!

I know we already talked about the brand.... but I should have asked you... why 950 watts? That is quite overkill for your system.
