I wouldn't get too hooked on brand as to say I'd buy Phobya water-cooling, since not all products from each manufacturer is made of gold. But if you're itching to work with your computer then water-cooling could certainly be fun.![]()

I wound up purchasing a new keyboard today, the Logitech G510. It's nice to have that small LCD and some keys that I know won't be fucked with applications. Grave key is apparently frigging help support in SWTOR, which is the same key as what I use for mumble. (And it's not listed in keybinds menu!)
Which keyboard did you have before? I would have suggested a sexy mechanical, personally.

Well...it won't be worse, and the processors are set to cost the same as 1155 sandy bridges. I'll be getting one for my new computer come spring.

Well.... you remember how my motherboard is more than likely faulty, yes? I'm thinking a brand new MoBo with IB might just be my best bet, if I'm able to afford it. Since they are putting out new chipsets+mobos right?

Actually. Remember how Bulldozer was worse than Phenom II, essentially? ^_^

Yeah, good thing you're joking. I'm thinking since the PC runs pretty flawlessly when most things are set to automatic, I'll pass most of this rig on to a real life friend who currently has my older parts. (E5200 dual core@2.5GHz, 6GB DDR2, old mobo, and old PNY 9800 GT)

The thread has derailed again. On topic, please.
I have been of the opinion for a while that the i5, mainly the quad core, is the best bang for your buck processor on the market. Sometimes I wonder why people go for the i5 but it's usually because they splurge on higher end graphics cards.
I have an interview coming up for full time hire and hopefully it means I land the boring mill apprenticeship I have applied for, cause that job pays well (starting rate is like 18-20/hr and goes upwards of 35 depending on your experience and time with the company). So yeah, that would mean I could build an insane rig in no time at all and still afford my cost of living![]()
And thus have more pictures of gaming setups to post in this thread. <3

I'd rather just engineer my own case rather then mod one. Odds are if I get where I want in the working world, I could engineer my own case from the ground up. That would be a ton of fun, take everything that is great about so many different cases and put them together.

For sure, if I get the job I am splurging on some liquid cooling, a Cooler Master Cosmos II case and a bunch of other stuff![]()
Got my third screen.... although it won't be any use for SurroundWrong size

a. I wanted the LCD monitor for specific tasks. Particularly to monitor things while I'm in full-screen applications that won't let me alt-tab to check those stats without most shit throttling down anyway.
b. Some rather soft, red lights are appreciated here on my desk. I'm not a fan of bright and excessive LEDs, but I'm also not prone to sitting in the dark either, so the lights are only a soft 'touch'.
c. I've missed having some frigging media buttons on my keyboard. It's really annoying when software decides to not let you tamper with media players or volume easily, and I don't like headphone volume sliders.
d. And I wanted macro keys so I could set software like vent, mumble, etc, to use a command that is within reach and doesn't get fucked by the billion weird things games choose to assign to the keys I like to use. Skyrim was sane assigning console to it, but SWTOR opens a new ticket... what the f-?
If you don't like those features that's fine, but that sort of snarky kind of response is a real buzzkill to any rep I've had for you.
Well it's a darn good thing that the keyboard isn't for you then, right? Just because you wouldn't use the LCD, doesn't mean others don't. They have value to some, and that's why they buy it.
I have a G11, and I love it. I use the macro keys. I wouldn't personally use the LCD, though I can see why some people would, so all the power to them.
Bottom line - opinion and preference are just that, so don't insult them, and say "no one uses the LCD" because obviously tons of people do.
BUT, we're all digressing here. This is about posting builds, with pictures, not arguing semantics about keyboards. Everyone needs to get back on topic. Consider this a final warning, if you must.
