haha I believe it man, but still, I bet it still makes you feel like the emperor or something. :P

I'd sleep and game in that chair, no doubt. O_o

If I was gaming on a laptop or playing on a console/controller, then yes a squashy armchair would be awesome because I could relax back while playing.

But to use a mouse+mousepad you'll have to lean forward somehow and that chair is giving zero back support...it would be really awkward for me >_<

  4. #7224
Actually, last I recall it's recommended that the chair doesn't have backsupport. Makes you prop yourself up or something.

I do sometimes pull the keyboard and mouse down to use while leaning back in the chair ;-)

    Umm mixed views on this...

It does... but it's only beneficial if you have the right posture to start with. If your not sitting properly it won't do you any good.
Personally I like being able to "slump" back into it during breaks, takes your mind off work/game and gives you a few moments to relax.
Last time I used a chair without backsupport at all... it was called a bed... and it was horrible. There's also the other end where some of the newer office chairs only support the small of your back, which I really hate.

Well, since people are posting pictures of their desks,

Also, I've recently added some gear to my setup

    "Old" setup:
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz
Memory: 16 GB Kingston HyperX DDR3
    Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3
    GPU: ATI Radeon HD 7950
Hard Drive: Intel® SSD 520 Series 120GB, + 550gb shared amongst two other, old drives.
    Case: Antec Performance One P180
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 225BW + temporarily an old 17" LG L1715S
    Mouse: Logitech G5
    Keyboard: Logitech G15
    OS: Windows W7 64

    Updates/Additions:
Monitor: BenQ 27" LED GL2750HM, this replaced the 17" LG L1715S
    HDD: 2TB Seagate Barracuda, ST2000DM001

I had 220 GB of photos on a 232 GB drive, kind of a tight squeeze. Now I've got plenty of space! Aaand yes I should get a dedicated backup drive, I'll do that when I can afford it, in the mean time I have the current 220 GB's of photos on both the 232 and the 2 TB drives. And I've got 200 GB of free space on my third drive, that I've been able to free up by moving stuff on there to the 2 TB. So there's room for temporary backups.

Might I mention to people, he has a Silver Stone Raven RV01, thus that picture is how it actually is, it is not lop-sided. The GPU points upwards with the DVI ports and stuff going out at the top of the case.

I thought that was obvious from the fact that the water in the res would be fighting gravity if it was lopsided lol.

It's not THAT obvious. =S To be fair.

I actually haven't tested yet. I like how cool and silent it's running at stock, but it's very tempting to start playing with it.

Man, I just went ahead and submitted a link to Silverstone's facebook profile via their messaging. That stuff is absolutely awesome, Marest.

Heh, play a little and report the results I'm very much interested and I bet Deltrus would like to have you in his overclocking leaderboard! Can always tune it down afterwards.

    Haha, well, I convert to B/W when I can't bother to optimize colors (I'm a nitpicking pixel-peeper).

    Cusco, I am disappoint. You are a photographer, using a TN-panel. And a 16:9 1080p 27".

Either way, I'll have to follow suit soon, then.
