Oh yeah, pro-tip: Don't use a 45mm rad in the roof of Cosmos 2. Runs afoul of most boards' 8pin, and most certainly did on the P9X79 Deluxe we used. :/
Fractal Midi <3 Fits almost anything on the roof.
Dont worry i got one of 35mm and otherwise i will place my radiator at the top.

Thickness wise yeah. If they just made that optical drive cage removable and drilled some holes you could fit 3x120.. And the bottom part of the HDD cage too while we're at it. Infact, make it so that you can disamble everything like some silverstones do, for example. Would make a perfect case.
To be perfectly honest, with most rads you won't see improved temperatures the lower RPM fans you use, I've found. Martin's Liquid Lab for example had the 30, 45 and 60mm rads from Alphacool on the throne together in his 800RPM test for example, except it was in that order too. (Ie 60mm was technically worse. Presumably margin of error at this point.)
Which of the Fractal Design Midi's are you thinking of? Arc or Define?
Either way, the Arc XL will be interesting to watercool.
A shame there'll be little need for it in the future, at least on the CPU-side.
More pics, less off-topic?
Well as soon as you have enough rad area to cool what ever you're trying to cool, more will do absolutely nothing (it will infact reduce flow and make it worse). 'Tis going horribly offtopic though.. Love my case anyway.
Edit: There's only one Midi. I'll post some pics in a sec to counterbalance the offtopicness.

So far haven't played a game that yields subpar performance playing at high or greater settings.
Looking forward to Planetside 2 and seeing how she runs![]()

You should remember we've seen plenty of people post and not back up their claims.
I asked before he uploaded the image and I'm well aware that an Alienware can have LGA2011 in it, did you forget who I am? :P I simply wanted to confirm he actually had it, low post count + new account as of this month could mean he was just upping his post count to reach that special 10 posts point.

Hi DeltrusYea the original image was way too large so I edited the post and recropped it some. Apologies.
I just made an account today with MoP around the corner and figured I have been lurking MMO for far too long now, hence the low post count. I certainly plan on offering more in the coming months. I upgrade my system every 3-5 years usually and to this point I have always built my own, but I was feeling lazy and didn't feel like it this time so I splurged a bit and went the Alienware route this past month. Overpriced? Probably a bit and I know for the money someone somewhere could have made something x times better, but so far I've loved everything about it so no complaints from me!
@innux I probably should have checked the pretty box and thrown SSD on it rather than mechanical but meh
Edit: I'll run some benchmark tests and such tonight and post em if you're curious when I get home from work.
Never heard of a computer builder willingly buy a prebuilt... much less Alienware, just because. =|
But, to each his own I guess, glad you're happy with it.
